MEET THE TEAM: Daniella Batchelor, Delegate Portfolio Sales Manager at the Care Forum

Behind every successful Care Forum is a dedicated team focused on bringing together the right people, ideas and solutions. As Delegate Portfolio Sales Manager, Daniella Batchelor works closely with senior care providers to understand their priorities, facilitate meaningful introductions and ensure every attendee gets maximum value from the event. We spoke to Daniella about her career journey at Forum Events, what excites her most about working on Care Forum and how she helps delegates build valuable business relationships…

What inspired you to join the Forum Events team and contribute to the success of Care Forum?

It was the opportunity to build a long-term career with a company that genuinely encourages development and progression. I joined the business as a Data Entry Clerk and, over the years, have been fortunate to progress through a number of roles by embracing new challenges and continually learning.

Moving into Delegate Sales allowed me to develop strong relationships with both delegates and suppliers, and over time I progressed into my current role as Delegate Portfolio Sales Manager. Throughout that journey I’ve enjoyed helping events grow by understanding what attendees really want to achieve and ensuring every event delivers genuine business value.

Taking on Care Forum is an exciting new chapter for me. While the care sector faces a number of significant challenges, it also presents huge opportunities for collaboration and innovation. I’m looking forward to bringing fresh ideas to the event while helping delegates and suppliers build meaningful relationships that support the future of the sector.

How do you see your role supporting senior care industry professionals in maximising their experience at Care Forum?

My role is to understand the priorities, projects and objectives of both delegates and suppliers so that every meeting at Care Forum is as relevant and productive as possible.

By taking the time to understand what each attendee is hoping to achieve, we can create personalised meeting schedules that bring together organisations with shared interests and genuine opportunities to work together. It’s about making sure everyone’s time at the event is used effectively and that every conversation has real purpose.

Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that all attendees leave the Care Forum having developed strong professional relationships, gained meaningful insights and made valuable connections that can support their business growth and future success”

What’s one key trend or challenge in the care sector that you’re particularly excited to help delegates address through the Summit?

One of the things that excites me most about Care Forum is the opportunity to bring senior care professionals together to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.

This year’s programme includes advisory board-led roundtable discussions covering topics such as complex care, person-centred care planning and the growing role of AI in promoting independence and improving outcomes for service users. These conversations provide delegates with an opportunity to learn from one another, exchange practical experiences and explore new approaches to shared challenges.

Although I’m relatively new to the Care Forum portfolio, I’m really enjoying learning more about the sector. Every conversation helps me better understand the priorities of care providers, and it’s rewarding to be part of an event that encourages collaboration and knowledge sharing across the industry.

What makes Care Forum unique as a platform for networking and problem-solving for senior care professionals?

It’s the highly-targeted and personalised approach. Rather than attending a busy exhibition and trying to identify the right suppliers, delegates receive a tailored itinerary of pre-arranged one-to-one meetings based on the projects and priorities they’ve shared with us beforehand.

Alongside those meetings, delegates can take part in advisory board-led roundtable discussions, seminar sessions and peer networking, creating opportunities to explore common challenges, share best practice and gain fresh perspectives from others working across the care sector.

It’s this combination of carefully matched meetings and open industry discussion that makes Care Forum such a valuable use of delegates’ time.

Outside of work, what motivates or inspires you to stay engaged with care industry trends and challenges?

Outside of work, I make a conscious effort to stay informed about what’s happening across the care sector. I regularly read industry news, the weekend briefings connected to the event and other publications to build my understanding of the challenges, innovations and policy developments affecting care providers.

I also like reviewing information from industry exhibitions and suppliers to understand the technologies, products and services being introduced to the market. This helps me have more informed conversations with delegates and suppliers while ensuring I have a better understanding of the projects they’re working on and the support they’re looking for.

The more I understand about the sector, the better I can help create valuable connections that benefit everyone attending Care Forum.

Care providers continue to navigate an increasingly complex landscape, making collaboration, innovation and trusted partnerships more important than ever. The Care Forum has been designed to bring senior decision-makers together with leading solution providers through a programme of personalised one-to-one meetings, expert-led discussions and valuable peer networking.
