With an estimated 3 million adults in the UK affected by malnutrition, it is important to promote awareness to those at risk, their families, friends and carers. Established in 2012, apetito are one of the founders of the Malnutrition Task Force, providing information and practical guidance to help combat preventable undernutrition and dehydration in later life.
To continue our successful webinar series, on Thursday 19th November 2020, we are holding our next webinar on the topic of malnutrition. This session is aimed at care home staff to increase their understanding of the causes and effects of malnutrition, how to spot the signs and the implications this may have for residents. Our webinar will be hosted by apetito company dietitian, Emily Stuart, and Caitlin Kitson, one of our Care Home Client Development Managers and an Associate Registered Nutritionist.
