In response to the increasing number of UK residents having to combine work with caring for friends or family members, employers for care professionals and the national charity, Carers UK have introduced a new survey series with the aim of exploring the impacts of the later stages of caring – in particular, when caring comes to an end – on both employers and carers in the workplace.

Care employers and other industry professionals are encouraged to take part in the two parallel surveys before the closing date of October 28, 2016, and results will be published within the following three months; including recommendations for action and a practical resource for employers completing the survey.
