The leading provider of specialist nursing care for adults with acute physical, mental and learning disabilities, Exemplar Health Care has announced that it has acquired financial backing to embark on a new project with the possibility of opening new homes.

The care group has gained financial aid from Agilitas, and the planned new homes are expected to create an estimated 1,500 new nursing and care jobs across Yorkshire, Humberside, the Midlands and the North West.

Managing partner at Agilitas, Martin Calderbank, said of the investment: “Exemplar is one of the regional leaders in the care of individuals who live day to day with these complex conditions.
