The Care Inspectorate Wales has unveiled an updated Securing Improvement and Enforcement Policy policy, which sets out the principles and processes its follows to ensure regulated services support people to achieve the best possible outcomes.
The CIW inspects services to check that they provide safe care and are meeting the requirements of the law. Its ‘Securing Improvement and Enforcement policy’ explains what it will do if services are not providing good quality care or are not meeting the requirements of the law.
To this end, the CIW will be hosting three virtual events later this month to support providers with the updated changes to the policy.
