Dementia Care, Sensory Tools and Training are topping the list of solutions the UK’s care home procurement professionals are sourcing in 2026, according to our exclusive research.
The findings have been revealed ahead of next month’s Care Forum in London and are based on delegate requirements.
Delegates registering to attend were asked which areas they needed to invest in during this year and beyond – with over 50% of delegates requiring the top 3 solutions.
Rounding out the top 5 were Health & Safety and Care Planning Systems.
The list is changed slightly since our event 6 months ago, when Training, Sensory and Employment Law led the top 3 spots.
Sarah Beale, Managing Director, Forum Events & Media, said: “Our latest delegate research highlights how strongly the care sector continues to focus on resident wellbeing, specialist support and workforce development. It’s particularly interesting to see Dementia Care and Sensory Tools now leading procurement priorities, reflecting the growing importance of person-centred care environments and therapeutic approaches that can improve quality of life for residents while supporting care teams operationally.
“At the same time, continued demand for Training, Health & Safety and Care Planning Systems demonstrates how providers are balancing wellbeing priorities with ongoing regulatory, staffing and operational pressures. The findings suggest care operators are increasingly looking for integrated solutions that can support compliance, workforce capability and resident outcomes simultaneously as the sector continues to evolve.”
