Care: The 2018 Buying Trends

Sensory Gardens, Dementia Products and Infection Control are the key areas of interest for the UK’s leading care professionals in 2018.

The findings come from a survey of the senior care professionals attending this summer’s Care Forum, which takes place on July 2nd & 3rd at Heythrop Park, Oxfordshire. These care professionals include representatives from the likes of Four Seasons Healthcare, Adara Healthcare, Care UK, Bloom Care, Aura Care Living and many more.

Almost a third are looking to invest in Sensory Gardens and Dementia Products, while over half are sourcing new Infection Control Solutions. Elsewhere, Health & Safety, Training and Furnishings are key areas.

“The benefits of sensory gardens for all kinds of care centres have been hailed for a couple of years now, so it’s no surprise that care homes are looking to invest in these spaces,” said Carly Walker, Head of Sales for the Care Forum.

“Dementia remains a huge area for our delegates, while Infection Control is, quite understandably, an important issue.”
