The Voluntary Organisations Disability Group (VODG) has released a new report which details the impact of Brexit on voluntary disability organisations.

The ‘Post-Brexit: What next for voluntary sector disability organisations?’ report builds on the findings originating from consulting the membership immediately after the EU referendum result, in a bid to identify post-Brexit issues and risks; as well as reinforcing the current challenges facing care providers.

Furthermore, critical workforce issues such as retention of existing EU nationals and securing future workers are also raised; along with reductions in community cohesion, social divisions in society and losing progressive approaches to disability rights.
